Host Installation
There are only a few requirements for the base operating system install required for the manual installation:
- Customization of the client and server requires a basic Fedora Core 9 install including core packages. Installation
of additional specific packages is required when setting up services and those packages are identified in the section describing the installation and configuration of each service.
- The binary RPMs are intended for use on a Fedora Core 9 system with an i386 architecture. The binary RPMs may not work properly
on other releases or distributions.
- Source RPMs should work on other releases, but have not been tested (you're on your own).
